1. The Conference Organizing Committee recognizes the urgency of this discourse and
has organized this conference to bring together a diverse range of perspectives. By
exploring practical, evidence-based solutions and fostering interdisciplinary
collaboration, the OTLC-2026 conference aims to reimagine the future of online
education in Uganda, ensuring it is inclusive, affordable, accessible, impactful and
adaptable to the demands of the digital age. The ultimate goal is to ensure that
digital education becomes a powerful tool for equitable development and academic
excellence in the country.
2. OTLC-2026 organizing team is inviting submissions for panel sessions and
presentations. Competitive and topical presentations shall make up the Conference
Magazine. Formats for presentations and panel sessions can be accessed on
https//otlconference.com. Submission is open from 2nd March and closes on
April 1st, 2026

Presentations Sub-themes and Guidelines
• Ensure presentation demonstrates a clear connection to the conference theme
• Presentation should not exceed 15 power point slides or 4 pages
• Utilize clear and concise language, and English is the official language
• Adhere to the specified word count for your submission type. Avoid overly lengthy titles
• Decisions regarding presentations will be communicated 30 days after deadline (1st May 2026)

a) Infrastructure & Connectivity: Tackling the digital divide & promoting affordable access.
b) Pedagogical Approaches: Strategies for effective and engaging online teaching.
c) Policy & Governance: Institutional & national frameworks for supporting online learning.
d) Digital Literacy: Building the capacity of educators, administrators and learners.
e) Technology Adoption: Tools, platforms, and innovations for e-learning.
f) Equity and Inclusion: Ensuring inclusive access for all categories of learners.
g) Monitoring & Evaluation: Measuring the impact and success of online learning initiatives
h) Cultural and Social Dynamics: Addressing socio-cultural barriers to online education
